Description

When Dr Phil Barham established his new chiropractic practice in the Queensland suburb of Burleigh Heads, he wanted an environment that would promote wellness for his patients and reflect the vitality of his approach.

Focusing on the wellness-based, family-oriented, chiropractic practise of his vision, Dr Barham's  goal within the new rooms would be to educate and adjust as many families as possible to optimal health through natural Chiropractic care.

He had been lucky enough to secure a prime ground floor position within the new Burleigh Heads Shopping Centre, a busy retail precinct housing specialist shops, supermarkets and professional services. The new practice boasted a wide glass frontage, which faced a large car park servicing the shopping centre. The branding opportunities for practice promotion were too tempting to ignore. Intrigued by the dynamic window signage LDA had designed for a neighbouring tenancy, Gerber Dental, which featured photographs of smiling individuals, Dr Barham approached LDA to design the interiors and practice branding.

A logo was developed to embody Barham Chiropractic as a Centre for Family Wellness, employing vibrant colour and clean, minimal shapes. This was applied to stationery and a web presence. A custom stock photography search was conducted to find photographs which could represent Barham Chiropractic as an accessible facility providing treatments and services to wide ranging demographics, from the very young to the elderly.

Large scale full-height window graphics were designed to attract attention from across the shopping centre car park, while complimentary reception signage completed the patients' brand journey into the practice.

On the design approach for his practice, Dr Phil Barham says:

"Because our office sees patients through all stages of growth and development we've tried to take that into account with our practice design. New patients often remark and how "great" the practice looks and that it seems to have a energy all of it's own. That's good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art Chiropractic care in a supportive environment."
