Description
Building a new practice from scratch should always be a watershed moment in a young dentist’s life. It’s a time when anything is possible… when dreams can become reality and when everything can irrevocably change for the better if you simply allow it to. It’s a time when you can push your boundaries and take a chance on yourself and your abilities. It is an opportunity to show the world all you can be and make a statement about your personal style and beliefs.
Great change, however, often requires a catalyst and for Dr Mark Casiglia, it may have been nothing more than the desire to get out of the rent trap and practice in premises he owned that initiated the journey that resulted in Apple Dental, a magnificent purpose-built practice and residence in the Sydney suburb of Lane Cove. On his new building and surgery design, Dr Mark Casiglia says:
"My brief to Levitch Design Associates was to give me a building that is modern, yet approachable and I really think we achieved that. The design Anne and her team presented exactly fitted what I needed. They addressed everything I wanted and it's extremely functional and works very well.
I took a giant leap of faith building the practice - but I am very happy now! All my patients came over and we're getting a much higher level of new patients. I'm professionally happier than I've ever been and that has translated to the rest of my life. The patients love it too and we get great comments all the time. Our staff also enjoy the new environment and it's just so much easier to have a happy day here! Everything is where it needs to be and everyone is content."
