BMA House, Sydney NSW	Nov / Dec 09	Drs Shipper and Heffernan started their search for the right location for their new practice in the Sydney CBD in late 2007. “We started to look around and thought about leasing, but given the amount you need to invest in a fit-out, we decided to buy premises,” Dr Heffernan said. “We were told that it would be difficult to find what we were looking for but in January 2008, we managed to find what has turned out to be the ideal site.

For Melbourne based specialist periodontist Adam Rosenberg, the value of using specialist dental designers Levitch Design Associates helped simplify the whole process and ensure the finished product exactly met his individual requirements.

Churchill Dental Clinic - Northmead, NSW	Sept / Oct 2008	Drs Thomas Vo and David Le are the proud owners of the brand new Churchill Dental Clinic in Northmead in Sydney. The pair, who happen to be cousins, went through dental school together and then worked all over Sydney and Newcastle for the first several years of their careers before looking for a place to call their own.

Divine Smiles - Brisbane, QLD	Nov / Dec 2008	Divine Smiles in the Brisbane suburb of Nundah is the brand new home of husband and wife team, Drs Ram and Chitra Das. Born in India, the couple immigrated to Australia in 2002 after a brief stopover in New Zealand.

Island Dental - Adelaide, SA	March / April 2008	To renovate or relocate is a question dentists often ask when their practice needs a spruce up or to expand. The former retains continuity of location but disrupts the work environment during building works while the latter means the practice can start afresh without closing the doors for too long if at all.

Lavrin & Lawrence Orthodontics - Melbourne, VIC	Jan / Feb 2009	Husband and wife team, specialist orthodontists Igor Lavrin and Sarah Lawrence, are the proud owners of a brand new practice in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. After renting from a fellow orthodontist’s city practice for several years, they finally found the ideal premises to relocate to and it happened to be right next door.

Lifetime Dental Care, Perth WA	Sept / Oct 09	Anne was very open to discussing our own ideas about what we wanted to do with the property as well as offering her own invaluable knowledge and experience. We loved the deco style of the building which we wanted to retain while also modernising it. We wanted more treatment rooms than the old practice and we wanted it all to flow properly. Anne took all of that on board.

Northside Orthodontics NSW	Nov / Dec 2005	Dr Steve Moate and Dr Roger Hammond studied their orthodontic speciality together and became friends during the course. At some level,studying together seems to be a good test of future professional compatibility. So, as often happens, studying together led to working together. They opened their first practice at Forestville, a family orientated suburb located on Sydney’s North Shore. They converted a well-positioned house into a three-surgery practice. After establishing the practice over a number of years, they felt it was time to open another practice that would allow them to offer their services to a broader area of the North Shore encompassing the Northern Beaches.

Parkview Family Dental Mar-Apr 09	Mar / Apr 2009	Parkview Family Dental is a busy 7- chair practice in the bustling Sydney suburb of Burwood, catering to patients of all ages with the gamut of general dental procedures. The practice is owned by partners Drs William Clarson, John Corry, Michael Bloom and Peter Halpin who work together with four hygienists and some 15 clinical and administrative support staff.

PSG Dental & Eye Care - Rutherford	July / Aug 2009	The attraction of shopping centres is the exposure to the enormous volume of passing trade, central location and easy parking. Levitch Design Associates were commissioned to design a dental and eye care centre. The site came with some problems, including a change to the floor level of about a metre in the middle of the once multi-tenanted premises. LDA recommended the installation of a raised floor, as change in internally levels is very hard to treat with ramps or stairs without loosing substantial space.

PSG Dental & Eyecare Centre - Morisset, NSW	Nov / Dec 2008	Pacific Smiles Group was the first dental corporate and it continues to lead the field with many and varied ways to solve the delivery of dental services to the general public. Founded in the Hunter Valley near Newcastle, the company is now the largest owner and operator of Dental Care Centres and Dental and Eye Care Centres in Australia.

PSG Dental - Westfield Tuggerah, NSW	Jan / Feb 2008	Pacific Smiles Group is an Australian based healthcare organisation that operates dental centres throughout NSW and Victoria and a mix of co-located and standalone eye care centres. The dental centres are arranged in 4 groups, each having its own brand that is positioned to serve a defined patient demographic.

PSG NIB Dental & Eye Care Collins St Melbourne, VIC	July / August 2008	Pacific Smiles Group (PSG) own and operate a number of dental centres. Most are located in NSW with a concentration in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region north of Sydney, where PSG commenced operations. nib health funds limited (nib) also originated in Newcastle so it was not surprising that in 2004, PSG acquired the rights to operate the nib Dental Care Centres in Hunter Street, Newcastle and George Street, Sydney.

Signature Dental - WA - Perth	Mar / Apr 2009	A South Perth dental surgery which literally attracts patients from across Australia and around the world has had a style makeover in keeping with the high quality of dental care on offer. Dr Allison Kale and her husband Raj have completely revamped the former Peninsula Family Dental practice in fashionable South Perth to become Signature Dental.
